Our mission
Deliver reliable, well-engineered solar systems and simple technology that help homes and businesses spend less on energy and depend less on the grid.

Teknova designs, installs, maintains and expands solar systems for homes and businesses across North Florida, with software that shows you exactly what your energy is doing.
Teknova Tecnology LLC is a Jacksonville company that brings solar and technology together under one roof.
We design and install new solar systems, keep existing ones running at their best and expand arrays as your energy needs grow. Every job starts with careful measurements and a design built for your property, not a one-size package.
Because we also write software, we can give you clear tools to watch production, catch problems early and see what your system is saving you.

Move the slider to your average monthly electric bill. We size a system to cover it and show what it could save over 25 years.
Assumptions: North Florida production of about 1,400 kWh per installed kW each year, 430 W panels, a system sized to cover your full usage, utility rates rising 3% a year and panel output declining 0.5% a year. A site assessment gives you exact numbers.
About $2,640 in the first year.
You deal with one team from start to finish, and we take care of the paperwork.
We review your bills, goals and roof, in person or by video call.
We measure the roof and prepare a panel layout, production estimate and clear proposal.
We file city permits, HOA paperwork where needed and the utility interconnection request.
Our crew installs your system cleanly and to code, usually in one to three days.
The city inspects, the utility approves, and we switch your system on.
Track your system from your phone, with maintenance whenever you need it.
Shingle, tile, flat or open ground. We plan the mounting around what you already have.

Ask us directlyIt depends on how much electricity you use, your roof and how much shade it gets. The estimator above gives you a starting point. After a free site assessment we give you a production estimate and savings figures for your property.
Yes. We inspect, maintain, repair and expand existing systems. We start with an inspection to check the condition of the panels, wiring and inverter, then recommend what makes sense.
Rooftop systems in Florida must meet the wind-load requirements of the Florida Building Code. We design the racking and roof attachments for the wind speeds required at your address and pass the city inspection before activation.
On a grid-tied system, extra daytime energy goes back to the grid. JEA and FPL each have their own rules for crediting it, and they can change. We explain how your utility handles it before you sign anything.
Florida law excludes the added value of a residential renewable energy system from your property tax assessment, so the value your panels add is not taxed.
Mostly practical tools: energy dashboards, monitoring alerts, websites and simple apps for small businesses. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit.
